Chinese Garden of Friendship
Adult: From AUD 12.00 | Child: From AUD 8.00
Australia, Sydney

Take a tranquil moment away from the excitement of Darling Harbour in the Chinese Garden of Friendship. Take a walk along the winding pathways of ancient China, past towering pavilions, cascading waterfalls and tranquil lakes. The traditional Teahouse overlooking the Sydney Chinese garden is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a refreshment. The best part is that you can stroll through the gardens at your own leisure and take as long as you’d like.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship was built by Chinese landscape architects as a beautiful symbol of friendship between Sydney and Guangzhou in the province of Guangdong, China (sister cities of sister states), to mark Australia’s bicentenary in 1988. It follows the Taoist principles of 'Yin-Yang' and the five opposite elements—earth, fire, water, metal and wood.
